According to local news reports, on Sunday, September 2, a 19-year-old male driver was killed after he was involved in a suspected DUI car accident involving a 24-year-old female driver. The terrible and fatal car accident occurred at around 9:00 p.m. the following evening, Saturday, at the intersection of North Perkins Ferry Road and Poeyfarre Drive in Moss Bluff, Louisiana.

Drivers and passengers involved in the three-car accident and other passerby motorists were assisting each other with that initial accident, when a fourth vehicle, another Chevrolet pickup truck, struck the Ford that was involved in the crash, while it was parked. The 19-year-old driver that was ultimately killed was not able to get out of the way of the oncoming Chevrolet truck, and he was hit. He was transported to the hospital for emergency medical treatment, but he, unfortunately, passed away due to his injuries. According to reports, “Officials observed signs of impairment from the driver of the Chevy pickup from the second crash, identified as Wood.
