A 51-year-old Enterprise man was reported to have been killed in a fatal suspected impaired driving-involved car accident in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana, last Sunday. Bordelon had also been riding with a second person on his motorcycle, and that person was ejected from the motorcycle on impact with the Silverado. The passenger on Bordelon’s motorcycle was taken to the hospital for injuries described as “moderate.” Sadly, Bordelon was killed in the accident and he was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Silverado, identified by reports as a 50-year-old woman from Trout, Louisiana, was ultimately arrested and charged with multiple criminal offenses, including failure to yield, operating a vehicle while impaired, vehicular negligent injuring, and vehicular homicide. She was booked at the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office. The investigation remains ongoing in the terrible and tragic motorcycle accident case, and it still remains to be seen whether there will be any further charges or conviction in the case.
