Lunsford, Baskin & Priebe PLLC was founded in 2013 on a simple idea: injured workers deserve lawyers who make workers’ compensation their life’s work, not a side practice. From offices in Jackson, Mississippi and New Orleans, Louisiana, our team represents injured workers and accident victims in every part of both states. Over the years, our attorneys have built more than 75 years of combined experience and recovered over $100 million in settlements for the people we represent.
Our clients are construction workers, truck drivers, nurses, oil field hands, plant operators, firefighters, and the many others who keep Mississippi and Louisiana running. When an injury takes them off the job, they suddenly find themselves up against adjusters, nurse case managers, and defense lawyers whose job is to limit what the insurance company pays. Workers’ compensation has its own rules, deadlines, medical guidelines, and courts. Several of our attorneys also came from the other side. Before joining the firm, partner Brad Baskin practiced insurance defense and workers’ compensation law, and that experience shapes how we prepare every case. Meet Our Attorneys
Rob Lunsford, founding partner, has spent his entire legal career litigating on behalf of injured workers and has handled hundreds of workers’ compensation cases. A graduate of Tulane University and Loyola University Chicago School of Law, he is admitted to practice in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Colorado and has been recognized by Best Lawyers.
Brad Baskin grew up in the Jackson area and earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Mississippi, where he interned for Chief Federal Judge Michael P. Mills of the Northern District of Mississippi. He joined the firm in 2014 and has been named to Best Lawyers and The National Trial Lawyers Top 100.
Jennifer Priebe was born in Lafayette and raised in the Greater New Orleans area. She earned her law degree from Tulane University Law School as a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and is admitted in Louisiana, Colorado, and Washington. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers and named to The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
Our team also includes Andrew Rueff, a trial lawyer who has tried dozens of jury and bench trials to verdict and argued before Mississippi’s appellate courts; Keaton Belk, a cum laude graduate of Mississippi College School of Law who interned at both the Supreme Court of Mississippi and the Mississippi Court of Appeals; Jared Martin, who has focused exclusively on representing injured workers since 2011; and Erin Heimlicher, a graduate of Tulane University and Tulane University School of Law.
